Meet the CT Sinus Center Team: Doctor Loughlin

When you’re looking for a doctor, there are certain criteria they must meet. You want them to be personable, trustworthy, knowledgeable in their field, and comforting. At CT Sinus Center, our physicians meet these criteria and share common values towards patient-centered care. Today, we’d like to highlight one doctor in particular, Dr. Chris Loughlin.

Dr. Loughlin was raised in the New Britain, CT area, and got his undergraduate degrees from Central Connecticut State University. He graduated in 1988 with honors in biology and economics, and then attended the University of Connecticut Medical School where he graduated in 1992. In order to complete his internship at Wake Forest University Medical Center, Dr. Loughlin moved down to North Carolina where he stayed until he completed his residency in otolaryngology in 1997. A year later, Dr. Loughlin was certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Over the years, Dr. Loughlin grew interest in nasal/sinus disorders and allergies, head and neck tumors, thyroid masses, and sleep apnea/snoring surgery, which compelled him to gain a vast knowledge of these conditions. This expertise made him the perfect addition to the CT Sinus Center team. Dr. Loughlin’s years of experience allows him to answer the questions of patients in a detailed, yet easy-to-understand manner, while his easygoing and comforting personality puts patients at ease. When he’s not in the office taking care of patients, he can be found with his wife and three kids either rowing, kayaking, or playing basketball.

If it’s superior patient care you’re looking for, then look no further. Dr. Loughlin takes the time to explain his diagnosis and the options available to the patient. Working with the other physicians at CT Sinus Center, he can provide patients with one-stop shopping and, in many cases, same-day treatment. If you’d like to experience the superior care that Dr. Loughlin and our other physicians offer, book an appointment today!
